Increase conversions with a flexible design process
The “double diamond” is no more. My UX design process adapts to each unique product challenge. Scroll down to learn more.
Kick-off meeting
Recommended for: everyone
The project starts with determining whether we're a good fit for each other. In a 30-minute call on Calendly, we'll discuss your product challenges, vision for the future, payment, and expectations. If we're both happy with the collaboration, I'll send you a downpayment for the first two weeks through a Stripe paywall.
Project roadmap
Recommended for: MVPs & large products
CODA is a project management tool that offers helpful product roadmap templates. If you don't have a roadmap, I can help you build one as part of the design process before we dive into Figma. Doing this together will help us keep track of features and deadlines.
Discovery workshops
Recommended for: MVPs & large products
Before designing, it's best if we're on the same page regarding what we're building and why. A live discovery workshop over multiple days will answer the following questions:
- what platform are we building?
- who are the people we are building it for?
- what jobs is the platform supposed to solve?
- what opportunities for innovation are available to us?
- who are our direct and indirect competitors?
- how do we organize our product's information architecture?
- what do we design first?
- what research methods should we employ?

High-fidelity design mockups
Recommended for: everyone
I will design your product's user interface with Figma. This will be a highly collaborative process, as I will write annotations and comments for you to give feedback on.
PS: I am very open to any method of communication (Slack, Loom videos, Google Meet). If we maintain regular check-ups, the project will be finished in record time, with few challenges.
Prototyping
Recommended for: everyone who plans to test with users
I can create dynamic, clickable mock-ups of the product's interface using Figma. Users recruited for testing sessions will interact with the prototype to give feedback.
Heuristic evaluation
Recommended for: redesigns
A heuristic evaluation is a fast way of finding the simplest fixes to an interface. I will run this evaluation using standardized design criteria called heuristics. You will receive a list of the most critical usability issues and suggestions for improvements.
Usability testing
Recommended for: everyone
Everyone's design process is driven by user feedback. User testing (or usability testing) is more expensive than heuristic evaluations, but it's usually a must for MVPs. Users receive a prototype of the design and a task (complete onboarding, resolve an error). The test facilitators (us) observe and analyze specific data, like how fast the task was completed or the users' hiccups.
Small and frequent tests are key. If you have a pool of potential users, I recommend moderated tests with screensharing or Loom videos. If no user is available, Maze can set up remote & unmoderated usability tests.
Design systems
Recommended for: large products
A design system is an ever-evolving system of variables and components. Color, buttons, type scale, and iconography fit well within a "style guide", but a design system will grow as the product grows. During our introductory meeting, we'll discuss whether or not your project can benefit from a design system.
Content strategy
Recommended for: landing pages
Increasing conversions can be done from the get-go. A landing page isn't just for presentation purposes but should help explain your product's value proposition to all customers. I use content strategy to build a web page structure before designing banners and headers.
Hand-off & support
Recommended for: everyone
The developer hand-off is one of the most critical steps of my design process. I use a clean system of annotations, arrows, and sections to separate user flows and highlight important observations.

After we have our first Introduction call and determine if we are a good fit for each other, I will send you a contract and a downpayment for the first 2 weeks of our collaboration. Once everything is signed, we'll schedule a Kickoff meeting to establish our working schedule and prioritize product challenges.

Hiring me as your product designer offers significant advantages over employing a full-time senior designer. With my services, you can access top-tier design expertise at a fraction of the cost. A full-time senior designer in the EU can cost companies between €94,000 to €175,000 annually when considering salary, benefits, equipment, and other expenses. In contrast, my services provide the same high-quality work for potentially 50% less depending on the scope of your project. Plus, you benefit from greater flexibility, no long-term commitments, and immediate access to specialized skills without training or overhead.

I ensure client satisfaction through several key practices:
1. A proven, effective design process guided by daily communication.
2. Focus on long-term projects, allowing for deep understanding and optimal solutions.
3. Fewer simultaneous projects than agencies, ensuring dedicated attention to each client.
4. Regular progress updates and measurable outcomes tied to your business goals. -
I offer a competitive hourly rate with bi-weekly billing based on a mutually agreed weekly hour estimate. This approach provides flexibility to focus on immediate business needs. For long-term projects (6-12 months), we can discuss an exclusive retainer option. I prioritize transparency in all billing matters to ensure you always know what you're paying for.
